Education Welfare Counselling
As an International Strathfield College student, you can ask for free counselling in any case you need it.
You can speak to your teacher, the Director of Studies and all our student service team regarding any issue you might have living in Sydney. We are here to make your stay in Sydney as agreeable and easy as possible. If you wish to speak to someone else, we can also recommend places where you can get some help for free.
Vocational Education Training (VET) students at Strathfield College also have access to a dedicated Learning Advisor, Jeanine Groves. Her job is to help you with your studies.
She supports current VET students by:
- running regular (bi-weekly) workshops on language, literacy, numeracy and study skills.
- assisting students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- monitoring academic progress of all students.
- providing an academic intervention support programme to students identified as struggling or at risk.
If you need any academic assistance, Jeanine is here to help you. She is on campus from Monday to Friday.
You can get Jeanine’s contact details from your trainer or the Director of Studies.
Alternatively email her at: email@example.com
This service is completely free for SC students.
