Strathfield College Sydney recently opened a second location in the bustling district of Surry Hills in addition to its site along Mary Street. This new campus located at Level 2, 136 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, New South Wales gives Strathfield students easy access to a host of Chalmers Street’s fun and functional spots.
The 7.5-hectare Prince Alfred Park is one of them, found right across Strathfield, where students can readily explore several green spaces, picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, bike lanes, and kids’ playgrounds. It also boasts of an outdoor public pool, which happens to be Sydney’s very first heated pool facility. Strathfield College even plans on hosting its future social events at Prince Alfred Park.
Strathfield’s new location is also a few minutes’ walk from Central Station, Sydney’s largest train hub serving both the Sydney Trains network and the New South Wales TrainLink services. Other public transport options are available in the area, making Strathfield’s new campus very convenient for students.
Chalmers Street is home to other interesting leisure spots like cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs, markets, boutiques, and galleries. Strathfield students can readily immerse themselves in the vibrant culture and thriving community in and around Chalmers Street.
